Dakum Thebeema (Paying Homage Ceremony)

In accordance with long-standing traditions, the ceremonial Dekum Thebeema, a ritual of paying homage, and the first Deva Aradhana (invocation of the deities) of the 214th Esala Perahera Festival of the historic Siddha Rankadu Pattini Devalaya, Kadu Devola, were conducted today (26th) at the auspicious time of 6:15 p.m. within the sacred temple premises.
