DESCRIPTION:කඩුදෙවොල සිද්ධ රංකඩු පත්තිනි දේවාලයේ 211 වන දිය කැපීමේ මහා මංගල්‍යය …. \nඓතිහාසික කඩුදෙවොල සිද්ධ රංකඩු පත්තිනි දේවාලයේ 211 වන ඇසළ මංගල්‍යයේ දිය කැපීමේ චාරිත්‍රය පසුගිය ඉරුදින(13) පෙරවරුවේ කැළණි නදියේ දි සිදු කෙරිණි. \nමෙසේ දිය කැපීමෙ චාරිත්‍රය උදෙසා පෙරහැර පිටත්ව යාමට පෙර විහාරයට ගොස් බුද්ධ පූජාව හා පත්තිනි \, විෂ්‍ණු හා රිට්ටා දේවාල වලට ගමන් තේවා සිදු කරයි. හේවිසි \nනාද මධ්‍යයේ දේවාභරණ සහිත පෙරහැර දිය කැපීමට දේවාලයෙන් පිට වේ. පසුව සුභ නැකතින් දේවාල භූමියෙ සිටුවන ලද කප සුදු පිරුවටයක ඔතා දේව ආභරණ සහිත පල්ලැක්කිය පිටුපසින් ගමන් කරවයි. \nදේවාලයට අයත් තොටුපළින් ඔරුවට ගොඩවන බස්නායක නිළමේතුමන් ඇතුළු පිරිසට අමතරව තවත් ඔරුවක හේවිසි කරුවන් ද ශබ්ද පූජා පවත්වමින් කැළණි නදියේ දිය කැපීමට ගමන් කරයි. \nකඩුදෙවොල සිද්ධ රංකඩු පත්තිනි දේවාලයේ දිය රණකෙළි මංගල්‍යයේ දිය කැපීමේ චාරිත්‍රය කැළණි නදියේ බුලත්ගම්පත සීමාවේ දී සිදු කෙරෙන අතර ඔරුව තුළ තිර රෙදි වලින් ආවරණය කෙරූ කොටසක් තුළ දී මෙම චාරිත්‍ර ඉටු වෙයි.රන් කඩුවක් ( මේ සඳහා පෙරහැරෙහි වඩම්මවන පත්තිනි දේවියගේ දේවාභරණය යොදා ගනියි) දියට බහා දිය කපා එතැනින් වෙන් වන දිය පහරින් නැවුම් වූ දිය රන් කලයට පුරවා ගනී. දිය කැපීමේ දී දිය බෙදී යන ස්ථානයේ ඒ කැපුම රන් කලයට දිය පුරවා ගන්නා තෙක්ම වෙන්ව පැවතීම දේව අනුහසයි. දිය කැපීමෙන් අනතුරුව බුලත් හුරුළු හා පඬුරු දියට දමමින් අදාළ පැරණි චාරිත්‍ර එලෙසටම සිදු කරනු ලබයි. හක් පිඹීමෙන් දිය කපා අවසන් බව දැන්වූ පසු තොටියන් ඔරුව නැවත ගොඩවන තොටුපළ වෙත ගමන් කරවීම සිදු වේ. චාරිත්‍රානුකූලව පුදසිරිත් කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව තොටුපළින් ගොඩ වන බස්නායක නිළමේතුමන් පැමිණෙන්නේ හිසේ සිට පිරුවටයකින් වසාගෙන වීම විශේෂත්වයකි. පිරුවට වලින් ආවරණය වී පැමිණි පසු සෙත් ශාන්ති සිදු කරවා ගරායකුම නටා හිසේ සිට වසා ඇති පිරුවට ඉවත් කිරීම සිදු කරයි.දිය කපා ගොඩවන ස්ථානයේ දී ඇසළ මංගල්‍යය ආරම්භයේ දී සිට වූ කප පා කර හැරීම සිදු වේ. කප පා කර හරින පුද්ගලයා කප ඔරුව යටින් පිහිනා රැගෙන ගොස් පා කරයි.එසේ සිදු කරන්නේ සියල්ලන්ගේ වස්දොස් දුරු කර ශාන්තිය උදා කරලීමටයි. පසුව දේවාභරණ හා රන් පැන් කලය එම ස්ථානයේ තැනූ විශේෂ මණ්ඩපයක තැන්පත් කර ගරායක් ශාන්තිකර්මය සිදු කරයි. සියල්ලන්ට දේව දානය පිළිගැන්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව රන් පැන් කලය හා දේවාභරණ රැගත් දිය කපා ගෙවදීමේ පෙරහැර දේවාලස්ථානය වෙත ගමන් අරඹයි. මෙසේ ලබාගන්නා පැන් ඉදිරි වසරේ හිසතෙල් ගෑමේ චාරිත්‍රයේදි නානුමුර මංගල්‍යය සඳහා යොදා ගනියි. \nමෙම දිය කැපීමේ මහා මංගල්‍යයයෙන් කඩුදෙවොල සිද්ධ රංකඩු පත්තිනි දේවාලයේ 211 වන ඇසළ මංගල්‍යයේ පෙරහැර රාජකාරීන් නිමාවට පත් විය. මෙවර පෙරහැර මංගල්‍යය සාර්ථක කරගැනීමට සහය වූ සෑම සියලු දෙනාටම උතුම් සත්පත්තිනි මෑණියන්ගේ පිහිට ආරක්ෂාව නිබඳවම ලැබේවා!. \nතෙරුවන් සරණයි! \nසටහන – උමේෂ් මේනුක \nමාධ්‍ය අංශය\, \nකඩුදෙවොල සිද්ධ රංකඩු පත්තිනි දේවාලස්ථානය\, \nකඩුවෙල.

SUMMARY:Randoli Perahera
DESCRIPTION:As part of the grand cultural celebration of the Kelani River valley\, the final Randoli Perahera\, featuring elephants\, of the 211th Annual Esala Maha Perahera Festival of the historic Kadudevola Siddha Rankadu Paththini Devalaya\, ceremonially proceeded around the Devalaya streets on the 12th. \nThe sponsorship for the procession on that day was undertaken by Mr. W. K. Sisira\, Proprietor of Asian Lanka Marketing\, together with his family. \nThe honour of bearing the Sadhathuka Karanduwa (Sacred Casket) was bestowed upon the Devalaya’s ceremonial tusker\, Tharaka Randuka\, and was carried in a golden palanquin mounted on its back. The divine ornaments of Lord Vishnu were borne by Mr. Nilanta Jayadina atop Aruna\, the elephant belonging to the Purana Vihara. The divine ornaments of Goddess Paththini were borne by Mr. Shamal Wijethunga\, Executive Officer of the Devalaya\, atop Kandula Weera\, the elephant belonging to the Kaduwela Kothalawala Sankhapitti Purana Viharaya. \nThe procession\, enriched with traditional Kandyan (Udarata) and Low Country (Pahatharata) dances and vibrant cultural performances\, was further enhanced by the participation of Rani\, the elephant owned by Mr. Deepthi Kumara of Biyagama\, along with her calf\, Surani. \nUnder the guidance of the Chief Basnayake Nilame\, Mr. Kularathne Wijethunga\, and the Executive Officer\, Mr. Shamal Wijethunga\, this year’s Esala Festival continued until August 21. \nMedia Unit \nKadudevola Siddha Rankadu Paththini Devalay

DESCRIPTION:The historic Esala Maha Perahera Festival of the Siddha Rankadu Paththini Devalaya\, regarded as a grand cultural celebration of the Kelani River Valley\, marked its 214th year. As part of this annual festival\, the third Gonpita Perahera of the Udamaluwa took to the streets\, representing a rare and distinctive tradition in Sri Lanka that features the ceremonial inclusion of cattle (bulls). \nToday’s procession was sponsored by businessman Mr. W.
